Introduction

The Approach to this and all Articles is consistent with our Standard System and Procedure.
The following article deals with the legal requirements of the Provision for Statutory Services and options for registered office address.

All incorporated entities in the UK are legally required to have a registered office (S86 Companies Act 2006).
This is the official address of the Company.
All statutory letters and legal documents can be served by:
- The Public.
- HM Revenue & Customs.
- Companies House.
- Any Government bodies.
This address must be shown on:
- Any type of business stationary.
- Letterheads.
- Marketing material.
- Emails.
- Company Website.

There are two options available to Avar Clients.
- Using Avar Company Secretarial Services (Avar Secretaries Ltd).
- Use Third Party Services

With effect from 1 February 2024, this service will only be offered to Avar Clients, at their request, as the Terms and Conditions have changed radically.
One of the major considerations is to you agreeing to this form.
Where this option has been removed, Avar reserve the right to change the Company’s registered office address to the Director’s home address, held on our database, unless an alternative is provided.
There are serious legal and professional reasons why Avar would refuse to offer or withdraw this service all together.

This is only applicable for UK incorporated Companies and not in any other country.
Companies House access code will be changed to our agents authentication code.
Only where Avar are appointed as Company Secretary, can you use this service.
You may have your registered office address at our offices (subject to the above conditions).
Automatically, without regular supervision by you as to what is required., within time limits.
Avar will automatically advise you of the actions taken by the agreed method of communication.
Pay all Companies House fees automatically, including filing of Annual Confirmation Statement.
We will deal with the post on a daily basis and send copies by Telegram and email attachment for your information.
It will be followed up with the actions taken, with a copy to you.
Using our address at Companies House.
Using our address at HM Revenue & Customs for Corporation Tax.
Declaring our address as the Director’s Service Address.
Only if requested will we forward hard copy mail to your private address (at £10 per item).
On disengagement, the authentication code will be amended and provided to you.
