Introduction (Needs updating)
- This is our SSAP and SOP approach to all articles.
- The following gives the stages of making payments for personal tax.
- We will file your SATR only after receiving your authorisation and approval.
- An SATR Notification detailing all the key information will be sent prior to submission.
- Unless advised otherwise, the amount to be paid or refunded will be shown on the notification, net of any payments on account made, plus first instalment on account, if due.
- Further details regarding payment can be found in this link.
- Once payment has been made, it can take up to three working days before it is allocated against the tax liability and changes are reflected on your Personal Tax Account.
- When making payment, it is important to include the reference which is shown on SATR Notification sent by us.
- HMRC have a short video guiding you how to pay your personal tax bill.
